DAY 1 | THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
Our team will pick you up at Goa international airport. After some rest and relaxation, we will have a welcome dinner, get to know the amazing people that will be on this journey with you and explore the neighborhood for those who aren't incredibly jet-lagged. Connecting to the red first Chakra, our basic needs and The base of Maslow’s hierarchy.
DAY 2 | BEACH BUMMING & SUNSET MEDITATION
After breakfast, today we'll explore the beaches of Southern Goa while sipping on coconut water, taking our first yoga classes and doing a sunset meditation. For those that are feeling slightly more adventurous, we'll visit an animal rehabilitation center for primates. Today is about connecting to the orange second Chakra, desire, inspiration and creativity.
DAY 3 | SPICE FARMS & ANCIENT FORTS
We'll be kicking off the day with a cooking class followed by organic lunch at a farm owned by a Goan family. We'll learn about growing Indian spices, Ayurvedic benefits as well as taste fresh cocoa bean vegan shakes. We'll top off with a short hike through the farm and on to the village lake. In the evening, we'll visit an ancient fort with thousand year old carvings and magnificent views of Goa's coastal line. Connecting to the yellow third Chakra, ego, self-identity, actions, digestion and the psychology of eating.
DAY 4 | EDUCATION WORKSHOP + LATIN QUARTERS
Education poses immense opportunities for India. That's why we'll attend a workshop on education and skills development with a leading non-profit based in North Goa. We'll spend the rest of the afternoon zig zagging through the old Portuguese town of Panjim, dropping into small cafes and meeting charming shop owners. Connecting to the fourth green Chakra, love, authentic emotion, self love and self appreciation.
DAY 5 | MARINE CONSERVATION
After the morning yoga session, we'll meet with a local non-profit moving the needle on eco-tourism and protecting marine life in Goa. We'll learn about responsible and sustainable travel that doesn't hurt the environment or animals. We'll end the day shack hopping and tasting a variety of Goan cuisine and drink. Connecting to the blue fifth Chakra, how we speak and express, conversations about using our voice.
DAY 6 | HERITAGE HOMES
After an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride, we'll step back into time by visiting one of the state's oldest preserved Portuguese homes from the colonial rule. Learn about the lifestyle of old Goan, be awed by the incredible antique collectibles and meet a family keeping their traditions alive. We'll have dinner and drinks by the sea tonight. Today is about connecting to the sixth Chakra, intuition, manifestation, and talking about what we most desire.
DAY 7 | HIKING THROUGH THE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Escaping to the woods, we'll immerse ourselves in a tree-studded wildlife refuge that provides protection and care to animals. We'll chase waterfalls, spot over a 100 species of birds (if we're lucky!), and marvel at the diverse flora and fauna. We'll leave the sanctuary relaxed after the hike. Connecting to the seventh indigo Chakra, speaking to the most authentic version of you. A course on nourishing your soul and positive psychology.
DAY 8 | HIPPIES AND MARKETS
A visit to Goa is incomplete without living the hippy experience straight from the 60s! We'll spend our last day visiting a town famous for its mud baths, hippy cafes where we can sip on cold coffee for hours, narrow lanes of small shops and massage parlors. Our goodbye lunch will be at the famous Laughing Buddha restaurant after which we will leave for the airport with new friends and memories. Connecting to integration and piercing together all we learned to continue showing up for ourselves and the world around us.
