Erin Doppelt invites you to North India on a 10-Day Spirituality + Breathing Immersion exploring Kundalini Yoga, Spirituality and Breathing. Erin Doppelt is an international spiritual educator, wellness speaker and retreat leader traveling around the world leading innovative mindfulness workshops (conflict competency, emotional intelligence, nutrition, yoga, spiritual development and meditation) to facilitate moments of meaning and train groups in these practices. These workshops are derived from the teachings she learned while living in The Middle East and India. Erin has her Masters In Clinical Psychology and Education from Columbia University NYC where she studied the marriage between spirituality and psychology. Erin has spent a significant amount of time in India where she worked in the slums of Mumbai, lived in many different ashrams and yoga schools, and cannot wait to share her love for the country with you.
What's on the Itinerary?
DAY 1: AIRPORT PICKUPS & ARRIVALS
Our team will pick you up at New Delhi Airport. You can arrive at any point on November 27th from 9 AM and onwards. For those that have arrived early, you may order lunch at the hotel. Tonight, we will meet for a 45 minute breathing exercise with Erin followed by a welcome dinner to get to know the incredible travelers in the group.

DAY 2: SERENITY + SOME COLORFUL CHAOS
We’ll start the day with early morning Kundalini yoga and breathwork from 7:30-8:30 AM. After a welcome breakfast and orientation, we’ll start the trip off with the chaos, color and energy that only a city like New Delhi captures, we'll visit ancient temples, bustling food markets, narrow alleyways and family owned shops passed down from generations. In the evening, we’ll get our hands done with mehendi by local street artists.

DAY 3: FAIR TRADE WORKSHOP & COOKING CLASS
After Kundalini yoga and breathwork followed by breakfast, we will participate in a fair trade workshop by the leading Indian non-profit pushing for artisans and women to have fair wages and improve their livelihoods. After lunch, we will explore India’s art heritage by visiting art galleries and museums in the cultural heart of the city. In the evening, we will break bread with a local family after they teach us how to make delicious Indian recipes. Connecting to the yellow third Chakra, ego, self-identity, actions, digestion and the psychology of eating.

DAY 4: SUNRISE AT THE TAJ MAHAL
Waking up at 2 AM will be worth it as we take an early morning drive to Agra to see the breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. We’ll soak in stories, history and views of the Taj. For lunch, we will meet a women’s cooperative working to provide economic opportunity to acid attack and abuse survivors. Lunch at their delicious cafe will be followed by perusing the bazaars of the ancient city of Agra. Tonight we will have an early dinner to catch up on some rest and relaxation before flying to Rishikesh the next day.

DAY 5: YOGA BY THE GANGA RIVER
Today we are off to the mountains after breakfast! We’ll take a flight to Rishikesh, the breathtaking base of the Himalayan Mountains with the beautiful Ganga river flowing through. We’ll be staying at hotel by the Ganges river to deepen our yoga practice over the next few days. Post lunch, we will settle in for a sunset Kundalini session, journaling and a candle-lit dinner. Connecting to the blue fifth Chakra, how we speak and express, conversations about using our voice.

DAY 6: EXPLORE THE HOLY CITY
After Kundalini yoga and breathwork followed by a silent breakfast, we’ll head in town to learn more about this sacred city where teachers, yogis and seekers have flocked to for hundreds of years. We’ll walk around old bazaars & visit the Beatles Ashram. In the evening, we’ll have dinner overlooking the river. Bring a journal along to hop into a cafe and soak in the energy of the hills. Today is about connecting to the sixth Chakra, intuition, manifestation, and talking about what we most desire.

DAY 7: SELF CARE & AYURVEDIC MASSAGES
After Kundalini yoga and breathwork followed by breakfast, you have the morning off to explore the city on your own or get optional Ayurveda massages followed by a sunset yoga breathwork by the river.

DAY 8: SUNRISE HIKING + VILLAGE EXPLORATION
Today we will wake up early in the morning to go for an easy early morning hike through the hills. Meandering through beautiful little villages with gorgeous views of the river, we will have breakfast on top a little hill with monkies. We’ll make our way down to town and have the afternoon off. We’ll meet up for a sunset yoga session and then dinner at an organic, vegan cafe for our last night in Rishikesh followed by a chanting celebration called Kirtan. Today is about connecting to your inner self and taking the time to slow down, relax and recuperate as a form of self-care.

DAY 9: BACK TO THE CITY
After Kundalini yoga and breathwork followed by breakfast, we’ll checkout and take an afternoon flight back to Delhi. Post lunch, we will check into our hotel and get in any last minute shopping or sightseeing. Tonight we will have dinner and (optional drinks) at a rooftop in Delhi for our Goodbye Dinner. Today is about building on your connections with others and reflecting on the adventure.

DAY 10: GOODBYE & AIRPORT DROP OFF
After a last session of Kundalini yoga and breathwork, we’ll have our goodbye breakfast and organize airport drop offs throughout the day. If you have a late night flight, you can explore New Delhi’s art galleries, Gandhi Museum or settle in for some introspection and journaling at a coffee shop. You can also explore a new neighborhood or get in your last bits of shopping. Today is for you to spend time reflecting on the adventures and taking in the last few hours of India slowly.
