Now that I’ve been back for a week, I’ve had time to reflect on my time in India and this is what I learned in 10 days. Thanks to a dedicated team at PFA Animal Hospital the spines of snakes can be repaired and taught to move again, at which point they are released back into the area where they are found. There is no end to the generosity of strangers, who will invite you into their home and share everything they have with you. Eating locally produced organic food that is not water intensive makes a lot of sense ie. Millet. Everyone looks beautiful in a sari. Fast fashion is a massive environmental problem worldwide. Fair trade is so important, being paid a fair wage for the work you do is not a lot to ask for. A group of strangers from around the world with a common goal can come together with no judgement or preconceived ideas and become sisters. It’s okay to share knickers with your new roommate if they are new (bonding). Southern Indian food is nothing like I’ve tried before. Millet Dosa and Peanut Cutney (OMG). Finally it takes a tiny moment in time to really SEE. A chance encounter with a terribly sick little boy under a bridge has stayed with me, affected me in a way only those who were with me can understand. It hurts me to think about, but I couldn’t help him. But I reached out to him…I hope he felt me. I hope he knew. I’ll be back to India. Humbled.

I just wanted to thank you and Pradeep from the bottom of my heart for making this trip so special. It can be a little daunting to travel alone when you're a more 'mature lady' but you tailored the activities perfectly and made sure everyone was cared for perfectly. I can say with complete honesty the trip outweighed any expectations I may have had - and what you are doing to showcase your wonderful country, in an ethical and conscious way is truly inspiring. Thank you for everything, i loved every second and I'll see you next year!! I'm definitely coming back, and I don't even want to look at any other travel companies because I don't believe they could do better.

The trip exceeded my expectations hugely.. and I honestly cant wait to come back and experience a different city with you guys. I mean this from the bottom of my heart.
